After starting off her career in product design development at a prestigious design studio and international manufacture company, Johanna began her journey as a founder of Deco-Home and directed her skills towards home decorations projects.
Her passion for innovative spaces and attention to detail and overseeing projects that seamlessly blend aesthetics and functionality built a sought after model of work. With a strong belief in storytelling through design she created spaces that leave a lasting impact.

Our Team
Johanna Idman and Stefan Oldmark have created a studio to provide a fully comprehensive bespoke interior design service for both Commercial and Residential clients. With an emphasis on acute detailing and project management, they challenge the brief and exceed by delivering a product as true to function as it is to form.

Our process begins with concept, understanding your vision and creating initial designs. Next, we move to construction, selecting materials and documenting for execution. This is followed by design, where we curate all furnishings. Finally, installation brings the complete vision to life.

Our first meeting is entirely focused on listening. We ask thoughtful questions to understand your vision, design preferences, lifestyle needs, and most importantly, you. We also discuss the scope, anticipated budget, and timeline. The goal is to get to know you thoroughly, so we can create a home that feels personal, functional, and truly yours.
Schematic Design
Drawing from your needs and insights, we craft a thoughtful design concept. This includes furniture layouts and samples of finishes, paint, flooring, and fabrics to give you a clear and inspiring overview of the direction we're headed.
3D Renders - Photorealistic Interior and Exterior Renders
There needs to be a clear picture of what will be created before the project can begin. That's where renderings come in. Whether with a technical 2D rendering or a 3D rendering, visualization is vital to the success of any project. It's the first step to your dream home makeover.

This includes selecting materials for flooring, walls, ceilings, lighting, kitchens, bathrooms, fireplaces, and more. We also assist with plumbing fixtures and custom millwork to ensure cohesion throughout the home.

With the final selections approved, we complete detailed CAD drawings and material schedules. All documentation is compiled into a customized Specification Binder, which is shared with the client and contractor to guide the construction process with clarity and precision.
